Description
This debate space is opened to know your opinion about the alternative solutions that are proposed in the modification of the Regulatory Ordinance of the tenancy and protection of the animals, having as main objective the need to achieve the maximum level of protection and welfare of the animals.

The main purposes in which the modification of the Ordinance regulating the possession and protection of animals is framed are the following:
To prevent wild animals from being subjected to unnatural and unnecessary suffering and exploitation by prohibiting the installation of circuses that use wild animals in their shows and their classification as a serious infraction with its corresponding sanction, in accordance with the Universal Declaration of Animal Rights, and with the legislation on this matter established in most countries of the European Union,
The creation of a forum as a space for collaboration between the City Council and non-profit, academic, administrative and animal protection entities, whose objective is to work in a coordinated manner for the protection, health and welfare of animals in the City.
It is important to separate the reference to recreation in order to have a special impact on this part of the protection.
